Dubai - Magical moments between desert and city

Dubai is a place full of contrasts: a city known for its luxury and modern skyscrapers, surrounded by the endless expanse of the desert. During our trip, we were lucky enough to experience this fascination up close - from the vibrant streets of the city to the tranquil, golden dunes of the desert.

A special adventure: the Desert Road

One of the highlights was our trip along the famous Desert Road. It's a surreal sight: the perfect asphalt road that winds seemingly endlessly through the barren but fascinating landscape, framed by the enormous sand dunes. But before we set off on our adventure, a policeman stopped us. And that was anything but unpleasant - on the contrary!

The friendly official took the time to explain to us exactly what was allowed and what we should look out for. He gave us tips on where we could stop without endangering nature and drew our attention to some local rules. This moment was like so many others in Dubai: full of hospitality, respect and the unmistakable Arab warmth. It was not only informative, but also a reminder of how important it is to respect a country's culture and customs.

The people: Warm-hearted and open

Away from the glittering skyline of Dubai, we were particularly impressed by the people. Whether in the bustling old town, where traders greeted us with a friendly smile, or in the modern districts, where you meet people from all over the world - our encounters in Dubai were characterized by openness and warmth. Especially in the desert, where we got into conversation with locals, we felt how deeply rooted the culture and history are in this region.

Unique landscapes that enchant

Dubai's landscape is as impressive as it is diverse. In the morning in the dunes of the desert, where the light bathes the colors of the sand in gold and orange, and in the evening on the beach, with the Burj Al Arab glistening in the setting sun in the background. These contrasts make Dubai a unique place that delights photographers and adventurers alike.

The encounter with the policeman in front of Desert Road remains in our memories as one of those special moments - a magical moment that shows how warm and helpful people are in Dubai. It was the perfect start to an adventure that we won't soon forget.
